OKC Associate gyms are run by Certified OKC Regional Head Coaches. We have thought long and hard about the idea of holding certification courses. What we as a team have decided is that we are not going to sell a certification. We will hold classes and workshops that are open to the public. The Regional Head Coach Certification is something that can not be bought. We are certifying our head coaches with our names. We personally guarantee that the holder of this title understands everything that we need them to know in order for them to teach safely and effectively. We have not figured out a way to provide this level of education and experience in a weekend since we have been studying and training for years and are still so far from mastery. 

We believe that the learning process is unending. We promise to provide further educational opportunities to our coaches and ourselves. We expect everyone to take advantage of them. We hold each other accountable. We must do this in order to stay hungry. We understand that we do not know everything. We must continue to seek, we must continue to reach and grow.

Our coaches have worked with us for months or years and have spent hundreds or thousands of hours studying and training to become as good as they can be. Once we are sure that there is a connection of mutual respect, loyalty, and trust we can link. These things take time, but we think they are worth waiting for.
